SIMIS Seminar on Field Theory and String Theory: Bethe/Gauge correspondence, rational Q-system and beyond

Abstract: Various kinds of integrability structures have been found in supersymmetric gauge theories, while we still have limited understanding on the connection among them. In this talk, I will explain an efficient method, called the rational Q-system, to find all the physical solutions to the Bethe ansatz equation in spin chain models of general representations, motivated by the Bethe/Gauge correspondence between spin chains and 2d N=(2,2) gauge theories. At the end, I will briefly comment about the potential connection to the affine Yangian found in 4d N=2 SYM.
