About SIMIS


The Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (hereinafter referred to as “SIMIS”) is a new research institute supported by Shanghai Municipality, Yangpu District, and Fudan University, located in Yangpu District, Shanghai. Based in Shanghai and radiating the Yangtze River Delta, SIMIS strives to build an internationally leading basic science and interdisciplinary research platform. Key areas of study include basic mathematics, applied mathematics, and interdisciplinary applications in artificial intelligence and biomedicine. SIMIS aims to tackle major scientific challenges and practical problems, produce original and groundbreaking works and technologies, cultivate top talents, and strive to become a world-class mathematics center.

Transportation & Accommodation


To the SIMIS building: Take subway line 10 to the Sanmen Station and then walk for about 200 meters to the International Innovation Plaza.

To the current office: Take subway line 10 to the Jiangwan Station and then go to Weicheng Road 62 by foot.
