Speaker: Xin Gao (Sichuan University) Abstract: We systematically constructed orientifold Calabi-Yau threefolds, encompassing both divisor exchange and multiple divisor reflection involutions. Expanding our classification, we reached h^{1,1}(X)=12 using a database from the Kreuzer-Skarke list. SIMIS-TSIMF Interdisciplinary Series上海数学与交叉学科研究院/清华三亚国际数学论坛交叉科学系列 Thermodynamics of Complexity: Free Energy Approach复杂系统的热⼒学:自由能原理 (修改稿,5/27/24) 时间:2024 年 6 ⽉ 11 ⾄ 16 ⽇ 地点:海南省三亚市清华三亚国际数学论坛(三亚市清华路 100 号) 主办单位:上海数学与交叉学科研究院 上海数学与交叉学科研究院(SIMIS)依托清华三亚数学科学论坛(TSIMF)举办“复杂系统的热⼒学:⾃由能原理”⼩型研讨会,邀请物理学、数学、计算神经科学、⼈⼯智能等具有交叉背景和兴趣的专家,聚焦⾮平衡态统计与复杂动⼒系统的数学刻画,探讨⾃适应体系的⾃组织与演化的第⼀性原理和复杂系统的涌现现象。研讨会将深⼊探讨⼀下课题,1)⾮平衡态统计物理;2)⾼维动⼒系统、临界性、随机过程; 3)信息论、编码理论。研讨会将⾸先回顾 Jarzynski,Crooke,Seifert 等研究的⾮平衡态热⼒学⾥熵与⾃由能的基本概念、Shannon 信息论信源信道编码和Bialek 的信息瓶颈原理、计算神经科学领域提炼出的⻉叶斯预测编码、主动推理和 Friston 的⼤脑⾃由能原理等,通过⾃由⽽聚焦的跨学科讨论,探索描绘信息运动及其随机控制的⼀般动⼒学规律和⽅程。 研讨会形式:研讨会在海南省三亚市的清华三亚国际数学论坛(TSIMF)举⾏。预计 4-5 天时间,规模不超过 30 ⼈。会议通过领域简介、头脑⻛暴、焦点问题等交流形式,辅之轻松愉悦的⾃由讨论和休闲活动,期望孕育复杂系统研究的原创性想法和思路。本次研讨会与诸多会议不同之处在于:1)⾼度交叉(数学、物理、信息、⽣命领域);2)⾼度聚焦(⾃由能、熵等基于热⼒学语⾔和框架所刻画的复杂、⾮平衡态系统);3)⾼度联动(会议单元并⾮每⼈介绍本⼈⼯作,⽽是以跨学科/领域的共同概念为基础的讨论、协同与互动)。研讨会可看成是⼀场在轻松休闲⾃然环境下持续多⽇的团队攻关 collective problem solving,会议宗旨是希望凝聚出复杂智能系统和过程的奠基性原理和⽅程。除了安排⼏场基础背景介绍的报告之外,其余时间以头脑⻛暴和聚焦攻关的形式。根据需要,在会议期间会临时调整议题,也会有参会者的即兴报告和汇报 presentation。 为保障质量,研讨会采⽤邀请制:参会⼈员是认可会议宗旨的在本领域具有相当基础和语⾔的专家和少数有潜⼒的学⽣。特邀嘉宾在三亚期间的⻝宿,由组织者承担。其他应邀参会⼈员需缴纳住宿(标间:400 元/天)和餐饮(200 元/天)。全体参会⼈员往返三亚旅费均⾃理。会议不收取注册费和其他会务费⽤。 会议议程(待定): 6 ⽉ 11 ⽇: 抵达三亚/研讨会报到 6 ⽉ 12 ⽇:* 上午 背景介绍:⾮平衡态统计、熵与⾃由能 (王⼦)* …
