Abstract: We will present certain results on the K-theory and cyclic (co-)homology of noncommutative orbifolds based on joint works with Xiang Tang and Sayan Chakraborty.
About the speaker: Yijun Yao is a Professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Fudan University. He is a recipient of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). His research primarily focuses on functional analysis and operator algebras, with numerous publications in top-tier journals including Adv. Math., J. Funct. Anal., J. Noncommut. Geom., and Math. Z.
