Abstract: Around twenty years ago Balmer introduced the notion of a spectrum of a triangulated tensor category. In the setting of algebraic geometry it allows one to recover the original scheme from its derived category of coherent sheaves. In other settings, like representation theory and algebraic topology it gives coarse information about the structure of the category. Recently Matsui proposed the notion of a spectrum of a triangulated category without a tensor structure. I will discuss this construction and explain why it may be of interest from the point of view of supergeometry.
