Bio
Visiting Professor at the Shanghai Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences. Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics, Fudan University. He earned his Ph.D. in management science and engineering from Southeast University, completed a postdoctoral fellowship in finance at Fudan University, and was a visiting scholar at Stanford University in the United States. In 2017, he was honored with the “Shanghai Pujiang Talent” award. Currently, he serves as the executive director of the Fudan-Stanford Institute for China Financial Technology and Risk Analytics, academic vice director of the Fudan-Zhongzhi Institute for Big Data Finance and Investment, vice dean of the Shanghai Joint Innovation Laboratory for Financial Big Data, and a adjunct professor at the School of Data Science, Fudan University.
His research focuses on financial technology, big data finance, risk management, green finance, and non-performing asset disposal. He has published over 100 academic papers in leading international and domestic journals, including Journal of Econometrics, Management Science, and Journal of International Money and Finance. And he has authored three monographs, and led more than 30 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Education. His work has been recognized with best paper awards and first prizes at numerous conferences, and his academic insights and interviews have been widely featured and republished by major media outlets.
