Physical Math Seminar @SIMIS: Deformed GL(N) five-vertex model and the equivariant quantum cohomology/quantum K-ring of flag varieties

Abstract: The deformed GL(N) five-vertex model is a quantum integrable system that generalizes the spin-1/2 five-vertex model. In this talk, I will explain why the Bethe ansatz equations of this model encode the equivariant quantum cohomology and quantum K-ring of flag varieties, and how the Bethe states generate the double Schubert polynomials.
