Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce a definition of limit spaces by nonstandard analysis, and show its equivalence to the limit spaces defined by Špakula and Willett. The relationship between Fredholmness of band-dominated operators and invertibility of their limit operators will also be discussed. This is joint work with Liang Guo and Qin Wang.
