Abstract: The semiclassical Weyl’s laws on Euclidean spaces gives an asymptotic for the number of negative eigenvalues of Schrödinger operators under the semiclassical limit. We will explain how to use a version of a semiclassical Weyl’s in noncommutative geometry to get semiclassical Weyl’s laws for open manifolds and contact manifolds. If time is allowed we will also discuss applications to Steklov eigenvalue problem.
