Abstract:
It is known for a while that for the ABJM theory on S^3, the 1/N expansion of the partition function can be resummed into an Airy function. Recently, there are more hints towards a general “Airy conjecture” which applies to ABJM theory with deformations, as well as other holographic theories arising from M2 branes. I will review these Airy conjectures and summarize the recent progress supporting them.
