Abstract: Some 10 years ago Håkan Hedenmalm and Pekka Nieminen publsihed a paper [1] where they showed a way to construct a Gaussian Free Field (GFF) using the dynamics of growing domains on the complex plane and the related Hadamard’s formula for the corresponding Green functions, obtaining along the way new and elegant proofs of some well known GFF properties. We are going to move these ideas into the discrete setting by considering a discrete GFF on expanding graphs, discrete Hdamard’s formula and the dynamics of the corresponding Green functions.
