From universal disc to universal Grassmannian

Abstract：Analytic geometry are built on affinoids. Closed discs are the simplest type of affinoids. In this talk， I will introduce a universal analytic ring Z[q]^\diamond which specializes to Solid and Gaseous. Over this universal ring, a closed unit disc is constructed, which specializes to closed unit disc in complex geometry and p-adic geometry. Based on the universal disc, we construct an universal Grassmannian which specializes to Sato Grassmannian and (modified) Segal-Wilson Grassmannian. This is joint work with Chris Brav.
