An operator algebras seminar at SIMIS: Uniform Rokhlin Properties for Minimal Actions

Speaker: Sihan Wei (Fudan University)

Host: Huaxin Lin

Time: Friday, May 16 14:30-15:30 pm
Location: Room 1410, SIMIS

Abstract: Uniform Rohklin Property (URP) was defined by Z. Niu for his purpose to study to comparison radius and mean dimension of crossed products associated with topological dynamical systems. In this talk, we are going to check out how UP will be satisfied for free and minimal Z^d actions on compact metric spaces.

About the speaker: Sihan Wei obtained his PhD degree from East China Normal University in 2023, worked as a postdoctoral fellow in University of Glasgow for one year, and is now a postdoctoral fellow at SCMS, Fudan University. His research interests lie in dynamical systems, and his work has been published in journals such as Canad. J. Math.
