Abstract:
For an étale constructible sheaf on a smooth variety, its singular support is a closed conic subset of the cotangent bundle. It is defined by Beilinson by extending the theory of Kashiwara and Schapira to varieties over a field of arbitrary characteristic. In the first part, we recall several geometric notions to characterize it and state the main result on its existence.
