A String-Theoretic Approach to the Holography of Self-Dual Gauge Theory

Abstract: In the first part of the talk, I will introduce the twistor approach to the study of celestial holography initiated by Costello and Paquette. In the second part, I will discuss a family of dualities between certain non-supersymmetric self-dual gauge theories on a large class of four-dimensional self-dual asymptotically flat backgrounds and the large-N limit of an independently defined two-dimensional chiral defect CFT. This construction proceeds via twisted holography for the type I topological string on a Calabi–Yau five-fold that fibers over twistor space.
