Yukun Lu

Bio

Lu Yukun is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (SIMIS). He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

His research interests lie at the intersection of statistics, geometry, and real-world data analysis. His current work focuses on applied statistical problems, including cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) structure reconstruction, RNA sequencing data analysis, and large-scale biomedical studies using UK Biobank data. In parallel, he is developing a long-term research agenda on the theory and methodology of manifold fitting for complex data.
