Abstract:

Dubrovin connection for Fano manifolds from a gauge theory perspective

Abstract: I will explain how 2d gauge theories (gauged linear sigma models) provide a way to understand two properties of a Fano variety F, on a unified context:
1) Flat sections of the Dubrovin connection of F
2) Semiorthoghonal decompositions of the derived category of F

If I have time, I will also explain how Stokes sectors/Stokes matrices, can also be understood in the above context. All this will be illustrated in some explicit examples such as projective Fano hypersurfaces or just P^n.
