Dynamical Systems Seminar: Discontinuity of Lyapunov exponent of Quasiperiodic $SL(2, R)$ cocycles

Abstract. In this talk, we will discuss how the discontinuity, continuity and H\”older continuity  of Lyapunov exponent of Quasiperiodic SL(2, R) cocycles, denoted by $(\alpha, A(\theta))$, depend on the arithmetic property of $\alpha$ and the smoothness of $A(\theta)$. The talk is based on a joint work with J. Liang and K. Tao.
