摘要： At the first part of the talk, I will show the derived categories of the d-th symmetric product of curves C is indecomposable if d is less than the genus of curve C. The method is to study the para-canonical base locus which govern the semi-orthogonal decomposition. In the second part, I will present recent results of indecomposability by several groups of people, with a special focus on minimal surfaces.
