Dynamical Systems seminar: The Extreme Growth Rate of Periodic Orbits for Equivalent Flows

摘要： We prove that the extreme growth rate of periodic orbits of differentiable flows is preserved by Lipschitz equivalence when all the fixed points are hyperbolic. In contrast, we provide examples of equivalent smooth flows with non-hyperbolic fixed points such that the growth rate of periodic orbits attains infinity and zero, respectively. This talk is primarily based on the paper [Gang Liao, Sixu Liu and Wenxiang Sun, J. Math. Anal. Appl., 473(2), 837-845, 2019].
