Abstract:
I will start by considering a two dimensional lattice model with Boltzmann weights given by the R matrix of the quantum affine gl_{n|m} algebra. The model is considered on a finite portion of the square lattice with partially identified boundary conditions, giving rise to a conic geometry. I will argue that such partition functions are generated by an operatorial exponential generating function. I will then move on to discussing how this generating function is related to a commuting subalgebra of the quantum toroidal gl_{n|m} algebra.

About Speaker:
Dr Garbali received his PhD from LPTHE, Paris where he worked on quantum groups integrable vertex models and loop models. He then moved as a postdoc to the University of Melbourne, and received in 2020 a DECRA fellowship from the Australia Research Council. He is currently working on higher rank quantum toroidal and shuffle algebras and related topics.
