摘要:
We use the Jouanolou model as a model for configuration spaces to construct higher-dimensional chiral algebras. In this model, chiral algebras can be studied as homotopy Lie algebras within a pseudotensor structure. Parallel to the standard complex one-dimensional case, free field realizations provide a useful tool and offer access to studying explicit expressions for higher-dimensional Virasoro and Kac-Moody central extensions. This is a joint work with Minghao Wang and Brian Williams.
About Speaker
Zhengping Gui is currently an Assistant Professor at SIMIS. He completed his PhD at YMSC, Tsinghua University in 2021 under the supervision of Professor Si Li. Prior to joining SIMIS, he held a Postdoctoral Position at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) until 2024, and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He works in the field of mathematical physics and is interested in the algebraic and geometric aspects of quantum field theory and string theory. My current research focuses on nonlinear sigma-models, renormalization theory, quantisations, and 2D (and higher-dimensional) holomorphic field theories.
