Abstract: In this talk, we shall present some results on the Lipschitz equivalence of self-similar sets, including dust-like self-similar sets and self-similar sets with touching structure. We will also discuss the relationship between Lipschitz equivalence and Lipschitz embedding of dust-like self-similar sets.
About Speaker: Professor Ruan Huo-Jun is a researcher working at Zhejiang University. He is an expert on the geometrical properties of fractals. In particular, Professor Ruan studies their Lipschitz equivalence properties, their analytic and metric properties, and interpolation on fractals.
