Abstract: A Poisson bracket is called log-canonical if it is of the form ${x_i, x_j} = \lambda_{ij} x_i x_j$. This talk presents a method for deforming such a bracket under an additional assumption of T-log-symplecticity, which will be defined. An application to Lie theory, in particular Bott-Samelson varieties, will be presented. This is joint work with J.-H. Lu.
