Abstract: In this talk, we will introduce a new approach to the Equivariant Poincare-Hopf Theorem by using the language of localization algebras. This approach provides a powerful algebraic language for analyzing differential operators on equivariant structures and allows for the application of Witten deformation techniques in a K-homological context. This is a joint work with Hongzhi Liu, Hang Wang, and Shaocong Xiang.
About Speaker: Zijing Wang is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. Degree from East China Normal University in 2024, under the supervision of Professor Hang Wang. His research interest lies in the field of noncommutative geometry. His work has centered on the Baum-Connes conjecture and the equivariant index theorem.
